New $5.7 Million Grant Aims to Increase Colorectal Cancer Screening and Follow-Up Care in Appalachia

A new $5.7 million grant from the National Cancer Institute will help cancer-control researchers at the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center and The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute work to increase colorectal cancer screening and follow-up care among the underserved in Appalachia.
