Lace up your running shoes and join Daphne’s Legacy for a family-friendly VIRTUAL 5k, benefiting the UK Markey Cancer Foundation!
Held in honor of Daphne Scruggs Fields, the proceeds from this annual 5k run are put to wonderful use funding Triple Negative Breast Cancer research at the Markey Cancer Center.
The Daphne’s Legacy 5k will be a Virtual Run this year. However, we will be at Lakeview Park on Friday, Sept. 25th for participants to pick up their shirt & any other Daphne swag.
We will also have a celebration or prayer walk at 6:00pm for anyone who wants to register and walk with us.
If you are planning to run the Virtual 5k~you will have from the time you register for the race, until the end of that weekend to complete your run and take a picture of your time and send it to us at daphneslegacy@gmail.com.
Times must be sent to us by 5:00pm, Sunday Sept.27th
We will post the winners names and send Awards the following week.
