Lisa Goldman and Centurion B took top honors in the $65,000 “The Betsy” Grand Prix at the Kentucky National Horse Show in Lexington last Friday, which included a gala event that raised an estimated $100,000 for the University of Kentucky
Markey Cancer Foundation.The grand prix and gala are held in honor of equestrian Betsy Fishback, who passed away from breast cancer in 2009. She was one of the founders of the Midway College Equine Program and later coached the
University of Kentucky Equestrian Team. She was also involved with the Lexington Chapter of the
The United States Pony Clubs Inc., (USPC) Official Page, the Kentucky Hunter Jumper Association and the Kentucky Horse Shows held at
The Kentucky Horse Park.
